Brown Consulting Sunshine Coast is currently looking for an experienced Mid/Senior Civil Engineer to join our award winning Urban Development group. We are seeking applicants with 5+ years’ experience working in a similar role within a civil environment.  The successful incumbent will be involved in challenging and exciting projects in a growing national company.

This position will require you to manage all facets of projects from inception to completion including all associated liaisons as well as the coordination of internal designers and external sub-contractors to ensure deadlines are met on authority submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clear technical advice


• Preparation of contract documentation, liaising with clients and authorities to ensure project quality


• Ability and interest in training and developing graduate engineers, designers, and drafters within the business unit


• Preparing tender submissions, contract documentation and writing clear and concise reports


• Responsible for financial aspects of projects

Key Criteria:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)


• Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles and industry regulations


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Solid capabilities in design, documentation and project management


• Desirable: Local experience


• Must have full working rights within Australia
