Opened in early 2012 this 5,000 space car park, is the largest single-structure car park in the southern hemisphere. Brown Consulting provided a “Value Engineering Review” of the original design. The savings produced through the engineering review, combined with the management of a Design and Construct tender delivery, ensured that the construction budget was maintained and produced enhanced value to Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC). Brown’s Smart Structure’s team also provided construction Quality Assurance support and Blast Design guidance in conjunction with Melbourne University.
